30-Day Returns

You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your goods to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • The item must be in its original packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and components must be included
  • You must provide proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

We reserve the right to refuse a return if:

  • The item has been used, installed, or modified
  • The item is damaged (unless reported as faulty)
  • Parts are missing
  • The product was specially ordered or custom-configured

Special-order, bespoke, or made-to-order equipment may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

How to Request a Return

Before returning any goods, you must contact us at:

Please include:

  • Your invoice or order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return

We will provide written confirmation and return instructions.
Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned goods, we will inspect them.

After inspection, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • A refund will be issued to your original method of payment
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment provider

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or supplied in error.

Return Shipping

Unless the goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly:

  • You are responsible for the cost of returning goods
  • Return shipping costs are non-refundable

We strongly recommend that all returned goods are:

  • Sent via a tracked service
  • Adequately insured for the full value

AES UK cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods arrive damaged or faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the damage or fault
  • A brief description of the issue

We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

Business-to-Business Sales

Most sales through AES UK are business-to-business transactions. Business purchases may not be subject to the same cancellation rights as consumer purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
