FLS / LPOS
The system is based on two sensors. A radar sensor (FLS) measures the distance to and speed of the vehicle ahead, and a camera (LPOS) identifies what
kind of vehicle it is.
Sensor calibration
The JOSAM calibration equipment is used together with the Cam-aligner wheel alignment system and is capable of calibrating both the LPOS and FLS sensors.

ACC / Lane Guard
The ACC/AICC sensor assists the driver to adapt the speed of the vehicle in relation to the distance of the vehicles in front. This sensor needs to be properly aligned parallel to the driving direction of the vehicle.
Sensor calibration
JOSAM offers two different solutions for measuring and adjusting all types of ACC/AICC radar sensors in an efficient
and accurate way. Either camera based, available as an add-on to the JOSAM cam-aligner wheel alignment system or stand-alone analogue system is operated with a laser projector, and requires no extra equipment besides a wheel adapter.
